MCRN represents and advocates on behalf of our member organisations, builds community sector capacity through networking, collaboration and partnership development, including delivery of a central information hub for members plus information to support the Blue Mountains Community.


Unfortunately, MCRN is at risk of closing down before the end of 2026 due to loss of funding.

The loss of our service will have a terrible impact on the way the community sector operates across our region.

Our Project

Resilient Villages Project

Resilient Villages is a three-year pilot project which has been funded by the Federal Government’s Preparing Australian Communities Local Stream grant program, following the devastation of the 2019-20 bushfires.

The RV pilot project is one of a number of grant-funded projects in the Blue Mountains that have been underway since bushfires time.
