About Our Sector

The Blue Mountains Community Sector is a rich and diverse sector delivering a range of programs and services that strengthen our community.  The Sector convenes through a range of interagency groups to facilitate a coordinated approach across the region.

Resources for Our Sector

Resources by service type, for emergency preparedness and recovery, and MCRN publications are available to all services, access to referral information and Blue Mountains interagency minutes is available only to MCRN members by log in.

Youth Opportunities Program, $10K-$50K for youth-led and youth-driven community projects that have a positive youth development focus.

Multicultural NSW Stronger Together Grants, $20K-$40K for projects to make a lasting positive impact on social cohesion at the grassroots level.

Care Finder Program Tenders, organisation sought to deliver the program to assist older people in accessing & understanding the aged care system in the Nepean Blue Mountains region.

Community Road Safety Grants, $5K-$30K for road safety projects that involve education and /or community engagement activities.

Children & Young People Recovery Initiative - Large Grants for Storm & Flood Impacted Regions, $10K-$50K for projects to build resilience, improve wellbeing and strengthen community connections for regional children and youth living in storm and flood affected areas of regional NSW (including the Blue Mountains.)
Applications close Sat 31 Dec or earlier if funds fully expended.

Children & Young People Recovery Initiative - Small Grants Program, up to $10K to deliver projects to promote social inclusion and build community connections for regional children and youth aged 0-24 years in areas that were declared flood & storm impacted in 2021.
